Government of Punjab appoints 2nd batch of Information Commissioners in Punjab Information Commission after the period of approximately one year.

PTI led provincial government proposed amendment bill regarding the age of retirement of Information commissioners. This private member bill was later rejected by KP law department.

KP provincial government proposed regressive amendments in KP RTI Act 2013 i.e KP RTI Bill 2018. The bill empowered government bodies to refuse information requests and put restrictions on public access to information in many ways.
