CPDI is a gender sensitive organization and supports the equitable policy development in all functions of state institutions.

Recently organization is intervening for gender sensitive reforms in legal framework for the protection of women with the support of UNDP Pakistan. CPDI intends to mobilize state machinery through advocacy on the basis of action oriented research study, carried in Khushab, Lahore, Jehlum and Muzaffar Garh Districts. For building consensus, its launching awareness raising campaigns to organize the civil society stakeholders, willing to work for the elimination of violence against women. Joint efforts would contribute for policy recommendations to fortify Gender Legal Framework ensuing to combat Violence against Women.
Upcoming Events

Capacity building workshops with the group of Police, Lawyers, Representatives from Public Health Sector and Crisis Centers. Training sessions will include understanding of gender based violence and Gender Legal Framework. ( Lahore, Jehlum and Khushab) July 2011.
