Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives, Pakistan (CPDI) is an independent, non-partisan and a not-for-profit civil society organization working on issues of peace and development in Pakistan. It was established in September 2003.
CPDI has its main office In Islamabad.
Key Responsibilities
- The Web Master will be responsible for developing, updating and maintaining websites.
- He/ She should have extensive experience in PHP and PHP frameworks (Yii), WordPress, excellent skills in MySQL (Query types, Joins, Indexes) and good database designing skills.
- He/She should have solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures.
- Server Handling (Dedicated & Shared)
- Ability to create user-friendly, cross browser compatible web interfaces.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team.
- Ability to take work from concept to launch.
- Ability to work in Word, Excel reporting and Google Analytics.
Education
The successful candidate should hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences/ Software Engineering.
Experience
Candidate should possess at least 3 years of experience in Web Development. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in WordPress and PHP frameworks like (Yii).

FINANCE OFFICER

- Background:
The Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives, Pakistan (CPDI-Pakistan) is an independent, non-partisan and a not-for-profit civil society organization working on issues of peace and development in Pakistan. It is registered UNDER SECTION 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (XLVII of 1984).
- Key Responsibilities:
- Cheques and voucher preparation.
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly preparation of Cash flow statement and Bank/ cash reconciliation statement.
- Prepare project monthly financial statements.
- Accurate posting of transactions in quick books.
- Handle tax payment and monthly tax returns.
- Maintaining financial files and records to ensure that the finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
- Implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Process supplier invoices and issue cheques for all accounts due.
- Assist with the annual audit.
- Administer and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that the finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
- To develop financial reports.
- Keep oversight on budget and expenditure.
- Perform other related duties as and when required.
- Qualification and Skills:
Master/ Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline of Finance with 2 -3 years’ experience in similar capacity. Preference will be given to candidates with international/local NGOs.
Strong skills in accounting software like Quick books, peach tree etc.
Strong command in using Microsoft applications.
